Erry Firmansyah graduated from Faculty of Economic, University of Indonesia in 1981 and began his career as Auditor with Drs. Hadi Sutanto Accounting Firm (correspondent of Price Waterhouse Coopers) from 1982 to 1984. He then worked for a consulting firm, PT Sumarno Pabottinggi Management until 1990, and began to establish his career with Lippo Group until 1998 as a Executive Director. Prior to become President Director of the Jakarta Stock Exchange (JSX), he served as President Director of the Indonesian Central Securities Depository (KSEI) from 1998 to 2002. Erry led the JSX from 2002 up to 2009, after it merged with Surabaya Stock Exchange to become Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX).

He then established PT Eagle Capital with Harry Wiguna in October 2009. In the same time he also served as a Independent Commissioner of Stated-Owned Asset Management Company (PT PPA) from 2009-2012, Indonesian Central Securities Depository (KSEI) from 2009-2015, and PT Astra Internasional Tbk from 2009-2015.

Currently, he serves as an Independent Commissioner for numerous company including PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk, PT Elang Mahkota Teknologi Tbk (parent group of SCTV-Indosiar), PT Solusi Tunas Pratama Tbk, PT Bali Towerindo Sentra Tbk, PT Totalindo Eka Persada Tbk and as a Commissioner of PT Indopremier Securities. Other than that, he actively contributes to organizations such as the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) as Vice Chief of Finance Committee, Andalas University as Member of Donating Council, Indonesia Chartered Accountants (IAI) as Member of Advisory Board for Standard Accounting, the Indonesian Institute of Management Accountants (IAMI) and Certified Wealth Manager’s Association (CWMA).

Following his graduation from the Faculty of Economics University of Indonesia in 1981, Harry Wiguna dedicated his knowledge and skills to PT Aseam Indonesia – a non-bank financial institution owned by five banks namely Bank Bumi Daya, Dai Ichi Kangyo Bank, Paribas Bank, Dresdner Bank, and Kleinwort Benson – from 1981 to 1989. He was responsible for the activities of treasury, money markets and capital markets. Later, he teamed up with his colleagues to establish a brokerage firm, PT Bina Tata Laksana Pacific, and a securities firm licensed for securities brokerage and underwriting, PT BT Prima Securities Indonesia (affiliated to Bankers Trust), from 1989 to 1995.

In 1995, he joined PT Sinarmas Sekuritas as President Director. In 1999-2002 he served as Director of Trading Activities and from 2002-2005 as Director of Listing in the Jakarta Stock Exchange (JSX). In 2005, he joined PT Danareksa, a state-owned securities company engaging in brokerage, underwriting, and fund management as Executive Director until 2009.

Together with Erry Firmansyah in 2009, he then established PT Eagle Capital to continuosly support growth and development of Indonesian capital market. In 2010-2013 he also served as President Commissioner of the Indonesian Clearing and Guarantee Corporation (KPEI).From 2012 to 2016 he also served as Independent Commissioner of PT Toyota Astra Financial Services. At present, he also serves as Independent Commissioner of PT Mitra Bahtera Segara Sejati Tbk and PT Golden Eagle Energy Tbk. Other than that, he also serves as a Member of Audit Committee of PT Astra Internasional Tbk, PT Astra Graphia Tbk and PT Astra Auto Finance.
